Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount of technical data when you use our website.

• Enquiry details: student name, age, phone number, email address, the lesson you are interested in and any message you send
• Enrolment details: parent or guardian details for students under 18, lesson schedules, attendance and progress notes
• Class recordings: online classes are recorded so the student can revise; recordings are shared only with the student or their parent or guardian
• Payment records needed for accounting and tax purposes
• Website usage data: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate location (city or country), and your device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymised. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which briefly checks your browser to block spam bots

Cookies and free tools

We use Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them in the cookie banner, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not use advertising cookies, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. See our Cookie Policy for details. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and performance.

The free music tools run entirely in your browser. When you use the tuner, your microphone audio is analysed live on your device and is never recorded, stored or sent to us. Audio files you open in the music speed changer also stay on your device.

How we use your information

We use personal data only for clear, limited purposes:

• To respond to enquiries and arrange free trial classes
• To schedule classes, share recordings, practice material and progress, and tell you about changes to timings
• To manage fees and keep the records required by law
• If you accept analytics cookies, to understand how the website is used and improve it

Children's data

Many students are children aged 7 and up. We collect children's data only with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian, use it solely to teach and care for the student, and never use it for targeted advertising or behavioural tracking.

Sharing your information

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as email delivery, video-call, cloud storage, website hosting and (if you accept analytics cookies) Google Analytics, and only under agreements that protect it. We may also share data where required by law.

How long we keep data

Enquiry details are kept for up to 12 months if you do not enrol. Class recordings are kept only while they are useful for revision, and deleted on request. Student records are kept for the duration of enrolment and for as long afterwards as required for accounting and legal purposes.

Keeping data secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and limit access to people who need it to run classes. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent at any time, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. You may also raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. If we make significant changes, we will let enrolled students know.
